New Indoor Playground to Open in Mentor

Mentor, OH: Lyndhurst-based indoor children's playground  Kiddie Jungle will be opening a second location on Mentor Avenue in Mentor later this year, the business reports. The facility will be located in the shopping center across from Great Lakes Mall, where an Aldi grocery store, bank, and Babies-R-Us are anchor retailers. Kiddie Jungle welcomes children 7 and under. 

The facility features a full indoor jungle gym with ball pits and plenty of room for climbing, making it perfect for chilly winter months (and painfully hot summer months as well). There will also be a large play area for babies and toddlers.

Kiddie Jungle hosts private parties for youngsters as well as free play hours. Children aged 1+ are admitted to the facility to play as long as they like for $11 (additional children in the party are admitted for $9 each). Babies under 12 months are admitted free of charge. 

Monthly memberships are also available. An individual child membership for is $40 May - September or $59 October - April. Family memberships are also available for $70 May - September or $89 October - April. 

Kiddie Jungle also hosts birthday parties for children up to age 7. The entire facility can be booked for private parties. A party room is available onsite. Snacks and beverages are also sold at the facility.

This type of facility is perfect for babies not only because it's free for babies under 1 year, but because it allows for a clean, safe place for littles to crawl around and play. 

If you head to Kiddie Jungle, be sure to pack your socks. Both adults and children must remove shoes and wear socks in the facility. Don't worry if you forget them, though-- you can purchase them at the reception desk for $2 a pair.
